Corn fructose syrup production technology main features:
1. The whole line of water vapor heat recovery design, save energy to reduce cost.

3. The high - temperature liquefaction enzyme was used for two - stage injection liquefying process, starch liquefaction was sufficient and higher syrup production capacity.
4. The purification process of the secondary ion exchange column sugar solution was used to remove the ash in the low fat corn flour, and improve the temperature of the finished product and prevent the color change.
5. By vacuum flash, more than 90% of the protein and fat completely separated from the syrup liquid.
High fructose syrup production process as below:
1. Mixing and liquefaction: Corn flour mixing with water, then add high temperature liquifying enzyme, get into the jet liquefier by the pulverized pump, the temperature of the jet is controlled at 100--110℃, and kept for 60 minutes. Then make second injection reaches 120-125℃, after 5min, the flash evaporation reduces the temperature to about 96℃ and keeps the temperature for 2 hours. Remove the protein and fat.
2. Saccharification: Using saccharification enzyme to make saccharification process when the liquid temperature is 58-60℃, time cost was 24-48 hours, when the DE value was required to be transferred to next production section.
3. Syrup liquid decolorization: Remove the fat protein and pigment from the syrup liquid by plate frame filter press.
4. Filtration: After decolorization, into filtration system, and the soluble protein in the syrup liquid was removed to reduce the protein content in the syrup liquid.
5. Ion exchange: Adjust the temperature of the syrup and the temperature of the PH value before the exchange. The syrup is pumped into the ion exchange system to remove the salt and remove the ash from the syrup.
6. Concentration: After ion exchange system, the syrup is heated and evaporated under vacuum conditions, so that the concentration of syrup reaches the range of process requirements, then could enter into the next process.
7. Isomerism: After adjusting the syrup of the trace elements of the acidity concentration, the glucose is made into fructose syrup by the immobilized isomerase, get 42% high fructose corn syrup.
During the high fructose corn syrup production ,The first enzyme added is alpha-amylase which breaks the long chains down into shorter sugar chains – oligosaccharides. Glucoamylase is mixed in and converts them to glucose; the resulting solution is filtered to remove protein, then using activated carbon, and then demineralized using Ion-exchange resins. The purified solution is then run over immobilized xylose isomerase, which turns the sugars to ~50–52% glucose with some unconverted oligosaccharides, and 42% fructose (HFCS 42), and again demineralized and again purified using activated carbon. Some is processed into HFCS 90 by liquid chromatography, then mixed with HFCS 42 to form HFCS 55.
